Fire broke out on Friday morning in a building housing six flats in Jakande Estate, Mile 2, Amuwo-Odofin, Lagos, Igbere TV reports.
The affected building is located behind a central mosque in the estate.
The Federal Fire Service in Lagos tweeted later saying the situation had been brought under control.
The cause of the fire and level of damage was not immediately clear.
