Officers of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) in Lagos have rescued a homeless woman who gave birth to her fifth child, a baby girl, on the road at Ikate Elegushi.
The RRS tweeted on Friday saying it took the mother, her new born and her four children to Eti-Osa Primary Health Care Centre.
“Our officers in Ikate Elegushi got a distress call this morning for assistance of a homeless mother of four who gave birth to a baby girl on the road,” the tweet read.
“Our officers got to the scene and evacuated the new born and mother with her four children to Eti-Osa Primary Health Care Centre.”
The RRS added that they are all in good condition.
