Kano State Ministry of Health has confirmed the death of two coronavirus patients in the state.
According to the ministry in a tweet on Thursday morning there are now 139 cases of the disease in Kano.
The ministry also acknowledged 24 new cases in the state announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) early Thursday.
Kano residents have been advised to stay at home and obey the presidential lockdown order.
