The wife of popular Islamic Cleric in Oyo, Sheik Taofeeq Akeugbagold and mother of abducted twins appealing and begging kidnappers to release her kids has surfaced online.
Igbere TV had earlier reported that set of twins, a boy and a girl who are children of a popular Islamic cleric in Oyo state identified as Sheikh Taofeeq Akewugbagold have been kidnapped by gunmen in Ibadan, the state capital of Oyo state.
Reacting on the incident, the police disclosed that they have since commenced investigation and hope to rescue the twins alive and arrest those behind the abduction.
The wife and distraught mother of the twin could not hold back her tears and revealed that she waited for 12 years before she welcomed her babies.
She pleaded with the abductors to have mercy on her and release her children to her.
Appealing to the abductors in native language (Yoruba), the mother of the twin said the abductors should please think about her and release her children.
She also mentioned that her husband is ready to give them whatever they want.
She appealed to all Nigerians to pray for the safe return of her children.
