IgbereTV reports that a 21-year-old, named Onyeishi at Ogbo Uvuru mbaise in Imo State was caught and paraded for allegedly poisoning the food of his twin brother Chikemdi with rat poison.
According to reports, after Chikemdi his twin brother noticed the stew in the pot had changed color and aroma, he asked his brother, Onyeishi what happened to the stew. Onyeishi denied knowing anything about it.
Chikemdi then raised alarm and drew the attention the villagers who tortured his brother Onyeishi till he confessed that he put rat poison in the stew his twin brother wanted to eat.
IgbereTV learnt that Onyeishi and Chikemdi were born triplets – two boys and a girl. Eventhough the twin brothers have never quarrelled, friends of Onyeishi testified that Onyeishi has been saying to them: “Achorom Igbu Ozu”, meaning in Igbo language: “I Want To Hammer or Make Money.
In the video below, Onyeishi is seen tortured and forced to taste the poisoned stew. After he fell on the ground, his brother, Chikemdi, whom he allegedly tried to poison helped him get up.
