The second test of the COVID-19 index case in Anambra State has returned negative, IgbereTV reports.
Governor Willie Obiano who made this announcement during a statewide broadcast said he has directed the State Commissioner for Health to discharge him.
The Governor also said that the remaining 36 samples have been submitted for testing, and the results will be made public.
Governor Obiano who maintained that boundaries in the State remain closed, stressed that it is now a must for everyone walking on the streets of Anambra state to put on masks.
He said that all hands should be on deck to ensure that Anambra state is Covid-19 free.
