Nigerian minister, Festus Keyamo in a recent statement has stated that it is wrong to judge people’s character without having personal interactions with them.
Keyamo’s statement may be linked to some inappropriate words that was used against late CoS Abba Kyari by some Nigerians on social media.
“Whilst it is perfectly in order to constructively criticize public officers’ official actions and policies, it is absolutely wrong to make judgments about people’s characters to the extent of using foul language to describe them without having personal interactions with them.
Events in the last few days have reminded us that to be ‘well-informed’ about anyone’s character only because of what you READ about that person is to be well-informed about NOTHING. What you read may just be the biased opinions of others who have some personal agenda to set,” Keyamo said.
