The Delta Government on Tuesday announced that it would make the use of face masks compulsory as it works to curtail the spread of #COVID19 in the State.
The Commissioner for Information, Charles Aniagwu, disclosed this while briefing newsmen on the outcome of the state’s Executive Council meeting which held virtually.
“The State Government is concerned about the lives of citizens. Hence, a decision to send a Bill to the House of Assembly to make it compulsory for everyone to wear face masks in public has been taken,” the commissioner said.
Other states like Lagos, Ondo, Oyo, Ekiti, Ogun are also set to make the use of face mask in public compulsory.
