Billionaire car dealer, Willy Anumudu, has died in Lagos, Igbere TV has learnt
Celebrity publisher, Dele Momodu, announced the death on Tuesday via his social media handle.
He said Mr Anumudu, the chairman of Globe Motors, suffered health challenges few days ago, though tested negative for the coronavirus.
He wrote: “One of Nigeria’s biggest car dealers WILLY ANUMUDU has died! The Chairman of GLOBE MOTORS, Victoria Island, suffered some health challenges few days ago and ‘was tested for COVID-19 which came out negative’. He was to be air-lifted to Germany this morning but died about 4am.”
Mr Momodu also said Anumudu’s wife, Nkiru, was currently in London.
Igbere TV gathered that the businessman leaves behind his wife and four children.
