Former vice-presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has denied buying a N650 million mansion in Enugu.
Reports on social media had claimed the former Anambra State governor purchashed a mansion in the Coal City state.
Refuting the report, Mr Obi tweeted on Monday saying he had no need of a house outside Anambra.
He added that he was committed to building hospitals and schools instead of buying himself a house.
“Contrary to the reports on social media, I didn’t buy any house in Enugu or elsewhere. I do not need a house outside of Anambra for now, and I am committed to living in my house in Onitsha,” he wrote.
“The houses I am interested in building, for now, are hospitals and schools.”
Obi, on Sunday, warned fraudsters against using his name to perpetuate crime.
