[BREAKING] COVID-19: Nigeria Records Worst Day With 86 New Cases in 24 Hours

Nigeria had her worst day on Sunday with 86 new cases of COVID-19 recorded, the highest in the country since its outbreak.

Igbere TV reports that the figures were shared among six states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), with Lagos taking the lead.

While Lagos had 70 cases, FCT recorded ‪7, Katsina‬ 3, ‪Akwa Ibom‬ 3, with Jigawa‬, Bauchi‬ and Borno‬ states claiming one case each.

This brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 627, with 21 deaths and 170 ‪discharged persons so far.

Here is a breakdown of the cases by states as reported by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) at about 11:50pm 19th April.
