Nigeria had her worst day on Sunday with 86 new cases of COVID-19 recorded, the highest in the country since its outbreak.
Igbere TV reports that the figures were shared among six states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), with Lagos taking the lead.
While Lagos had 70 cases, FCT recorded 7, Katsina 3, Akwa Ibom 3, with Jigawa, Bauchi and Borno states claiming one case each.
This brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 627, with 21 deaths and 170 discharged persons so far.
