Lagos Discharges 5 Coronavirus Patients

Five more coronavirus (COVID-19) patients have been discharged in Lagos State.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced this on Thursday, saying the patients were discharged from the Mainland Infectious Diseases Hospital after testing negative twice for COVID-19.

“Dear Lagosians, Today, 5 more patients; 3 females and 2 males, have been discharged from the Mainland Infectious Diseases Hospital to reunite with the society,” he wrote on Twitter.

“They were discharged having recovered fully and tested negative twice consecutively to #COVID19.”

Ninety persons have now been successfully managed and discharged from the state’s isolation facilities.

Mr Sanwo-Olu appealed to residents to stay at home, practice social distancing and observe personal hygiene.
