Katsina State Government has begun house-to-house search for indigenes who recently returned from Lagos, Abuja and other states that have recorded cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Chairman of Katsina COVID-19 Sub-Committee and Commissioner for Information, Haddi Tsirika, announced this on Tuesday.
Tsirika said the measure becomes necessary as most of the returnees followed bush paths, evading medical screening at the inter-state borders.
