Nigerian lawmaker, Yakubu Dogara in his Easter message has called on Nigerians to remain steadfast in the period the country and the world is.
He said, “Easter marks the epitome of God’s unconditional love for humanity as God himself paid the ultimate price to save us: his enemies. Let us therefore emulate this love by offering ourselves in service to God & humanity including those we call enemies. No doubt, the times are hard.
Nigeria and indeed the world is going through difficult times occasioned by #COVIDー19 pandemic, economic downturn & insecurity. Our contemporary challenges require that we persevere in prayers for divine intervention & wisdom to surmount them.
As we remain steadfast in prayers, this too shall pass away. We have every reason to celebrate #Easter because by His stripes we are healed and it was in #Easter that death itself was defeated.”
