Min of Finance debunks report that funds were lost in fire incident at the Office of the Accountant General

The Ministry of Finance in a latest statement has debunked the report that funds were lost in the fire incident at the Accountant General Office.

The Min of Finance in it statement said the general public should take note as the Minister of Finance, Ahmed Zainab did not grant a press conference or any interviews.

“No funds were lost in the fire at the Accountant Generals Office which was contained to two rooms. Donations are under N30b to date. This is pure mischief & should be disregarded.”
