The Ogun state government has begun the disinfection of all major open markets across all senatorial districts of the State.
“we are aware that the virus survives for some hours on common surfaces,” the state government disclosed.
According to the report, the disinfection exercise is being coordinated by the State Ministries of Environment and Health, in line with the promise to disinfect public places with non-toxic substances as effected by about 900 purpose-trained personnel.
Gov. Dapo Abiodun in a statement said, “The support we have so far received from the private sector will remain appreciated, and we will do more to rid the State of the killer disease.”
