The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has dissociated itself from an infographic displaying the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) case update.
In a disclaimer on Tuesday on social media, the church said it had no hand in the infographic, although it had its Instagram handle.
“We completely dissociate ourselves from an infographic that displays COVID-19 Case Update,” the tweet read.
“This infographic has our Instagram handle on it. It is absolutely not from us. Thanks for understanding.”
RCCG General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, also brought attention to the tweet by the church’s public relations’ arm.
There are currently 238 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
