COVID-19: South East NYCN Calls On South East Sons And Daughters To Support Government Efforts

The National Youth Council of Nigeria South East Zone has called on South East sons and daughters to support government efforts towards combating COVID-19 Pandemic in the zone.

In a statement signed by the National Vice President, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) South East Zone , Prince Chibuike Echem on Monday.

The apex youth organisation commended the South East Governors for their efforts so far and appealed to the people to support the government by taking taking precautions so as stay safe.

The Statement reads; “The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) South East has observed with growing and developments in relation to the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic .

We understand the life threatening nature and rapid transmission of this dreaded diseases round the world.

We commend the efforts of South East Governors in the various State and the Nigerian Government at large in combating the pandemic.

We call on South East Youths and Nigerians at large to abide by the instructions and public notices/advice issued by government and other related authorities in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We also call on well meaning sons and daughters of South East, organisations and campany’s in South East to donate to support the Government even as we commend those who have done so before now.

As we keep our hopes alive in finding solutions to COVID-19 let us stay safe by taking precautions.

In conclusion, unbehalf of myself, the zonal organizing secretary, the five state chairmen, other leaders of our zone and indeed all the youths of the zone we pray that this challenging times will come and pass, Amen.”
