Lagos State Government has discharged four coronavirus patients, Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, has said.
Abayomi disclosed the latest figure at a news conference on Friday.
This brings the total number of discharged persons in the state to 23.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu confirmed this in a tweet, saying the patients – three females and one male – tested negative to the virus twice.
“More great news from our Infectious Disease Hospital as 4 patients; 3 females and 1 male have recovered fully, tested negative twice and have been discharged,” said Mr Sanwo-Olu.
“This gives us a lot of hope as we continue to listen to our health experts and provide the resources to beat #COVID19.”
