Adamu Mohammed Duguri, the older brother of Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has been kidnapped.
Mr Duguri was said to have been abducted around 7:30 pm on Wednesday at Anguwar Jaki in Bauchi metropolis.
Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Media to Bauchi governor, Muktar Gidado, confirmed the incident to newsmen.
The incident comes 24 hours after the governor tested positive for the coronavirus.
Mohammed is now in self-isolation after coming in contact with the son of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar who earlier tested positive for the virus.
Both men met on an aircraft and exchanged pleasantries.
