The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed four new cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Nigeria, bringing the number to 40.
The centre said in a tweet late Monday that of the four new cases, three are in Lagos while one is in Abuja.
โFour new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria. 3 are in Lagos State and 1 in FCT,โ it said.
โTwo of these cases are returning travellers.
โAs at 11:00pm on the 23rd of March, there are 40 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. 2 have been discharged with 1 death recorded.โ
The state is on 28, Abuja โ 7, Ogun โ 2, while Ekiti, Oyo and Edo States have one each.
