The Enugu State Government, on Monday, called for high-level personal hygiene to be observed by all and sundry in the state, in the wake of the deadly coronavirus outbreak across the country.
A statement made available to Igbere TV, in Enugu, by the state’s ministry of health, said the directive was in view of the global health emergencies around the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Signed by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Ifeanyi Agujiobi, he said all public places including banks, markets, supermarkets, shopping malls, hotels, Pharmacy shops, eateries, among others, must observe the highest level of personal hygiene, including the use of sanitizers and hand washing materials.
