The Ministry of Health in a latest statement has declared that to reduce the risk of importation of coronavirus, the first line of defence is the point of entry at the international airports.
This was made known on Monday morning as it disclosed that Port Health Services will screen travelers, review travel history and persuade passengers to provide accurate information on forms for effective tracking.
Additional measures have been taken by Nigerian Government to prevent the spread of #COVID19 and they include, strengthening contact tracing, stockpiling reagents and PPEs and increasing testing capacity through addition of two labs in Abakiliki and Maiduguri.
