Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, says the Italian man who is Nigeria’s index case of coronavirus (Covid-19) will be discharged soon.
Dr Ehanire spoke on Thursday in Abuja during a conference with the diplomatic community about measures taken by the Federal Government to tackle the spread of the virus in Nigeria.
The minister emphasised that there were only two confirmed cases in Nigeria currently – the index case and his primary contact.
Lagos State Government had this week said the Italian was showing signs of recovery.
