According to IgbereTV report, the newly elected Governor of Bayelsa state, Diri Douye paid a visit to former vice president, Bukola Saraki on Saturday.
The report hinted that during their conversation, Saraki appealed to him to pursue reconciliation within the Peoples Democratic Party PDP ranks, and to work hard to deliver on the wishes and aspirations of the Bayelsan people.
Saraki in a statement said Governor Douye “gave me assurances of his determination to reunite our party and the entire State, and to perform excellently during his tenure as Governor.”
