The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested a member of the cabinet of Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.
Mukhtar Ishaq, Kano State Commissioner for Special Duties, was arrested on Thursday, the anti-graft agency tweeted on Friday.
Mr Ishaq was arrested for allegedly diverting funds meant for Kano Municipal Local Government while he was chairman of the local government.
