Following the declaration of Senator Duoye Diri as the new Governor of Bayelsa state, Delta state Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa has sent his congratulatory message, according to IgbereTV reports.
Okowa in his statement also advised Diri to work on reconciling all aggrieved individuals in the state.
He said, “Congratulations to my brother, Senator Douye Diri, on his swearing-in as the new Governor of Bayelsa State. As you assume office, know that you carry with you the dreams, aspirations and hopes of all your people.
It is my fervent hope and prayer, that you continue to work to reconcile and unite all aggrieved individuals both within our party and in your state, as you work to build a greater Bayelsa for all its citizens!”
