Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof Mahmood Yakubu, has met behind closed door with some national commissioners at INEC headquarters in Abuja.
It is believed that the officials gathered on Friday to study the Supreme Court’s judgement which sacked David Lyon as Bayelsa Governor-elect.
INEC spokesman, Festus Okoye, had said on Thursday that the commission was studying the judgement.
Mr Lyon was initially scheduled to be sworn in on Friday (today).
