The leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has cried out to Amnesty International, accusing Nigeria military and Police of intimidating mourners attending his parents’ burial in Afaraukwu-Ibeku, Abia State.
In a statement made available to Igbere TV on Friday, Kanu said two coaster buses conveying people for the burial at Umuahia have been detained by the Nigerian military for no reason.
According to him,
1) At Aro Ngwa Army Check Point , 2 coaster buses conveying people for the burial at Umuahia have been detained by the Nigerian military for no reason.
2. At Isiala Ngwa Army Check Point . A 14 seater bus also m detained by the military and all of them moved to army barracks.
3. At main reception venue at Union Primary School Afaraukwu and Ojukwu Bunker near my house SARS are busy arresting people in order to provoke us.
