Chelsea have completed the signing of Hakim Ziyech from Ajax for a fee of €45m.
The 26-year-old will spend the rest of the season with Ajax before joining up with the Blues in the summer.
The Moroccan playmaker becomes Frank Lampard’s first signing as manager.
In 2018/19, Ziyech netted 21 times and recorded 24 assists in 49 games across all competitions.
The former FC Twente star has scored eight times with 21 assists in 29 matches this season.
The Dutch-born midfielder began his professional career in 2012 with Heerenveen, before moving to FC Twente in 2014.
Ziyech becomes Ajax’s third most expensive sale behind Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt.
