A wife simply identified as Mrs Ummadu has allegedly attempted to kill her husband over extra-martial affairs in Owerri.
The tragic incident was revealed by a friend of the husband, Chinonso chibuogwu, who visited the victim at Federal Medical Centre situated in Owerri where he is currently battling for survival.
According to Chinonso, the sad wife attempted to kill him after she discovered that her husband is having romantic affairs with a side chick.
Frustrated by the development, the wife took laws into her own hands, stabbed the man two times while sleeping but he managed to wake and escape.
