Plateau senator, Ignatius Longjan, dies in Turkey
Senator Ignatius Longjan who represented Plateau South Senatorial District is dead.
His death comes about two months after Senator from Imo State, Benjamin Uwajumogu, died in December.
The lawmaker’s former Chief of Staff, John Dafa’an, has confirmed the report.
Senator Longjan died on Sunday evening in Turkey after falling ill for several weeks.
He was a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Vice-Chairman, Senate Committee on Culture and Tourism.
Longjan was also a former deputy governor of Plateau State.
