Billionaire Businessman, Otedola On A Tour Of Dangote Refinery, Fertilizer Projects (Photos)

Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, has visited the oil refinery and fertilizer plant sites in Lagos owned by Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote.

Mr Otedola shared pictures of the visit on Monday on Instagram as he is shown around by Dangote.

“Visited the Dangote 8th wonder in the world – second-largest fertilizer plant (ready for commissioning) and the biggest oil refinery (75% completed, with the petrochemical unit 60% completed). I’m still in AWE having not been in Lagos for 5 months 🏗,” he said.

The $15 billion oil refinery will be one of the world’s biggest on completion. It is designed to process 650,000 barrels of crude daily.

Dangote, 61, says he will export about 35 per cent of what the refinery produces.

The fertilizer factory is estimated at $2.5 billion. The complex will also house a petrochemical plant.

They will be powered by gas, which will be sent from the Niger River delta via two 550-kilometre underwater pipelines, which will also cost Dangote about $2.5 billion, Igbere reports.
