Recall that the Chrissy, wife to the sexiest man in the world, John Legend revealed earlier on Monday that her husband was in Nigeria, which caught many people unaware.
Well, it turns out John Legend was secretly flown in to Nigeria to perform at an event organized by media outfit, ThisDay to celebrate it 25 years of existence and also launch it streaming platform known as Arise Play.
John Legend performed some of his hit songs at the event with many of his Nigerian fans singing a long. Nigerian songster, Asa, also performed at the event.
The likes of Naomi Campbell, DJ Cuppy, and her father Femi Otedola, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Donald Duke, were among the top dignitaries that grace the occasion.
The Founding Chairman of ThisDay, Nduka Obaigbena, also presented 150 million naira in total to staff that have been with him for 25 years.
Recipient of ThisDay Award of a Decade included Dangote Group, EFCC among others.
