Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode has been one of the lead voices calling for the support of the newly created South West Security Outfit, Amotekun.
Fani Kayode in a latest statement has once again shown support for the security outfit as he quoted a verse in the Bible to back the creation of Amotekun.
He wrote on Social media, “Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them & a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a LEOPARD shall watch over their cities, every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces because their transgressions are many”- Jeremiah 5:6. AMOTEKUN IS HERE TO STAY!
Note that Amotekun in English language means Leopard.
There is growing support for Amotekun following a statement by the AGF Abubakar Malami declaring the outfit illegal.
