President Muhammadu Buhari, who is currently out of the country for a UK-Africa summit in the UK has once again spoken about the closure of borders in the West African country.
The President in a statement made from Kensington London stated that the reason for the border closure was not to punish neighbours.
He said the border was closed to strengthen the country’s security and economy.
President Buhari added that his administration ”found out that the farmers are celebrating and asking us to keep the border close.”
