The Lagos State 2019 Governorship Aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Jimi Agbaje in a latest statement on Friday has applauded South West Governors for the creation of security outfit, Operation Amotekun.
Jimi Agbaje like others from the South West also supported the creation of the security outfit as he stressed that something similar should be replicated in other regions across the country.
He said, “Operation Amotekun deserves the support of all and should be replicated in different regions of the country. Other levels of policing can only improve our current inadequate security situation. Security matters are more effectively addressed at local levels.”
“I commend the decision of the South West Governors to complement the efforts of other security agencies in setting up the Western Nigeria Security Network,” he added.
