Governor Ihedioha Bags New Chieftaincy Title (Photos)

Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha, has been conferred with a chieftaincy title by the elders and traditional rulers of Oguta, a town in the state.

The governor announced via Twitter on Monday that he was conferred the title of Ogbuagu on Sunday.

He tweeted saying his administration would not “relent in our deliberate efforts to make Oguta realize its full potentials as a foremost tourist destination in Nigeria and indeed Africa.”

“Oguta is well known for its rich cultural heritage and abundant human and natural resources,” he said.

Ihedioha was joined by Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, and former governors Achike Udenwa and Ikedi Ohakim among other Imo stakeholders.
