Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has lost his elder sister, Rabiat Bello, following a protracted illness.
Rabiat died on Monday night aged 59.
The governor in a statement on Tuesday by his spokesman, Onogwu Muhammed, announced his sister’s death.
The statement said a three-day Fidau prayer would be held for the peaceful repose of the deceased from December 26 at the governor’s residence in GRA, Okene, Kogi State.
In August, Bello lost his stepmother, Rekiya.
