First Lady Aisha Buhari has celebrated her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari, on his 77th birthday, Igbere TV reports.
Mrs Buhari wished her husband God’s protection and good health across social media platforms on Tuesday.
“Happy Birthday to MY incorruptible GMB. I wish you Allah’s guidance protection and good health to continue steering the affairs of our dear nation. Long Live GMB. Long Live Federal Republic of Nigeria,” she said.
In the preceding week, Aisha raised dust again in the presidency by accusing Buhari’s nephew, Mamman Daura, of allegedly undermining her office by issuing a presidential directive without her husband’s knowledge.
She also attacked presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, whom she claimed issued the directive scrapping the office of the first lady.
Her outburst drew criticism and commendation on social media.
President Buhari and wife recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary.
