The youth leader of Buhari Youth Organisation, BYO, Chuka Malvinho Onyekwulunne, has declared he was ready to do everything in his power for the sake of Buhari. He said this in the wake of alleged threats to his life as well as burning down of his house in his village by persons who were against his campaign for Nigerian youths’ support for President Mohammad Buhari’s style of leadership.
Speaking to newsmen recently, seen clouded by heavy security operatives, the BYO leader who had made several public statements enjoining all meaningful Nigerian youths to support PMB, alleged that since he started his campaign, he had been receiving several phone calls from unknown persons who had been threatening his life.
Onyekwulunne however reiterated his unwavering determination to continue his campaign for his ‘role model’, President Buhari vowing to pay the ultimate price if the need arises.
In his words, “I cannot begin to count how many times I’ve been called around midnight by hidden numbers and when I pick the calls, I would hear, ‘You dare support a dictator like Buhari; you will pay dearly for it’, ‘Fulani herdsman, Efulefu like you, you have chosen to remain a slave to the Fulani Caliphate and make other Southern Nigerians to join you, we will get you.’

“With the recent burning of house in the village, even close family members have been warning me to close down anything about BYO for the sake of my life and that of my loved ones, I continue to tell them that I am ready to give my everything for this cause. I am ready to fight for a change with President Buhari, He alone is the kind of leader that can take Nigeria from this quagmire of corruption to the promised Land of a more patriotic, disciplined and economic stability.”
Reacting to the alleged conspiracy by the Fulani Caliphate to islamise Nigeria and the president’s tendency to appoint his own tribe and kin over others to significant positions, the Maverick activist stated, “…indeed it is honorable for one to prefer his religion which preaches being a teetotaller, honesty and modesty to be the state religion instead of one that encourages sin so as to pray for forgiveness, perversions among its clergy due to doctrines that go against nature as well as beguiling the common man with illusionist acts.
Why won’t the president not suspect everyone without his religious orientation. That is why he is replacing heads of MDGs found wanting with people he can trust.
“Nobody is asking why these people being removed were even fingered for change in the first place. We know that lots of those sitting in those positions are the real reason we have refused to grow as a country. They are the ones who divert public funds given to them to develop various sectors of the economy, for their personal businesses and properties all around the world.
It would be recalled that the BYO leader had been in the news for speaking out against those who criticise President Buhari’s government and had been calling on Nigerian youths to support Buhari and join his organisation. His group BYO is one that does the job of evangelising PMB to the country youths.
