Comedian Bovi Makes Case For James Bond Role

Comedian, Bovi, has expressed interest in playing the iconic role as James Bond in the 007 series.

In another comic post on Instagram on Saturday, the 40-year-old called on the producers of the movie to consider him for the role in the future ahead of British actor, Idris Elba.

According to Bovi, the producers will simply tweak the plot to show that James Bond went undercover to Nigeria.

“This James Bond thing sef. If Idris Elba will not do, can’t they call me? They should just tweak the story that 007 had to go undercover to Nigeria so he trained to speak pidgin English, eat starch and banga, cuss at will, look for trouble; and like most Nigerians, speak loud and in capital letters.

Mission will be to rescue Bond girl, Bella Hadid from reckless, lavish, but illegal enjoyment from the jaws of yahoo boys. Phew! See feem!” he wrote.

Idris Elba has been in the James Bond conversation for years, but the actor has expressed concern at some of the racial references that pop up when he is mentioned as the next 007.

Daniel Craig, however, will return for his fifth run as James Bond in the 25th film in the super-spy series with the title No Time to Die.

The movie is expected to be released in the second quarter of 2020.
