Former Nigeria international, Odion Ighalo, has come under criticism on social media for attributing career success to favour other than labour.
In a tweet on Tuesday, the 30-year-old appeared to push hard work in the background, saying: “Favour is better than labour 🙏🏾.”
After facing backlash, Ighalo, who retired from the national team after his heroics at the 2019 AFCON in Egypt, took back his statement and turned it around, saying “Labour is better than favour 😋🙏🏾 are we ok now?”
