Banky W Reacts To Hate Speech Bill

IgbereTV reports that popular Nigeria singer, Banky Wellington, better known as Banky W has condemned the hate speech bill currently proposed by the Nigeria Senate.

Banky W made this known on Twitter. He wrote:

Dear Senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We are all watching.There’s already legislation dealing with fake news. This bill is redundant and will only further stifle free speech, in a country that seems set up to war with its young people.
