The Apostolic Nuncio to Nigeria/Pope’s Representative in Nigeria, His Grace, Most Rev. Antonio Guido Filipazzi, Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, his Anambra State counterpart, Chief Willie Obiano (represented), Archbishop of Onitsha and Metropolitan of Onitsha Ecclesiastical Province, His Grace, Most Rev. Valerian Okeke and Bishop Callistus Onaga of the Catholic Doicese of Enugu, today performed the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the Centenary Hostel in Bigard Memorial Seminary, Enugu, as part of the activities marking her 95th Anniversary.
The anniversary celebration, which witnessed the ordination of 25 deacons from Ontisha, Awka, Enugu, Abakaliki, Nnewi, Awgu, Nsukka Dioceses, is the official countdown to the institution’s Centenary coming up in the next five years.
