Suspected thugs have attacked the convoy of Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki; Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu; and Chairman, Caverton Offshore Support Group, Aderemi Makanjuola, Igbere TV reports.
The trio were attacked on Saturday while driving into the residence of the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, in Iyamho, Edo.
They were returning from the first convocation ceremony of the Edo University, Iyamho.
Mr Makanjuola was named chancellor of the institution at the ceremony.
Police sources told Igbere TV that suspected thugs attacked the men who were invited for lunch by Oshiomhole.
