Iyaloja General of Nigeria, Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, has become a mother for the second time through surrogacy.
The first daughter of All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Bola Tinubu, Mrs Tinubu-Ojo welcomed a baby girl into her family on Friday last week.
A naming ceremony was held for the child in Alausa, Ikeja on Friday (today).Among those present at the ceremony were Lagos APC chairman, Tunde Balogun, and Senator Tokunbo Afikuyomi.
Tinubu-Ojo’s first child – a boy – was also born by surrogacy on December 25, 2017.
The iyaloja general and her husband, Oyetunde Ojo, were childless after years of marriage before opting for surrogacy.
Surrogacy is an arrangement whereby a woman agrees to become pregnant and give birth to a child for another person who will become the parent.
