The accused, Oluwaseyi Oladapo, 28; Aluu Richard, 30; and Ebhoma Fortune, 30; whose addresses were unknown, were facing a two-count charge of stealing and conspiracy.

The Prosecutor, Insp. Cynthia Ajezie told the court that the defendants committed the offences at about 9.00 p.m. at Canaan land, Ota.

She said that the offences contravened Sections 390 (9) and 516 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ogun, 2006.

They, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Senior Magistrate, Mr Shotunde Shotayo, granted the defendants bail in the sum of N200, 000 each with two sureties each in like sum.

Shotayo ordered that the sureties must reside within the court’s jurisdiction and be gainfully employed with an evidence of tax payment to Ogun Government.

The case was adjourned until Nov. 12, for further hearing.
