Three farmers abducted from their farms on Wednesday October 16, in Maro village along Kaduna-Abuja highway have been rescued by troops attached to Operation Thunder Strike.
One of the kidnappers was killed by soldiers who stormed the kidnappers’ den after receiving credible intelligence.
The Deputy Director Army Public Relations, 1Division Nigerian Army Kaduna, Col. Ezindu Idimah confirmed the success of the rescue mission and further disclosed that an AK 47 rifle with two 7.62 special ammunition were recovered as the kidnappers fled with gunshot wounds.
