The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) have denied rumours making rounds that the governing body is owing Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr three months’ salary.
This comes after Veteran sports journalist, Osasu Obayiwana alleged on Twitter on Thursday night that Gernot Rohr has not been paid his wages by the Nigeria Football Federation for three months.
He wrote: ‘The @NGSuperEagles play a match against #SelecaoBrasileira in Singapore, at 8pm Singapore time on Sunday.
Gernot Rohr, the Franco-German in charge of @Nigeria’s team, has not been paid his wages by the @thenff for THREE MONTHS.
Reacting to his claims, NFF said Rohr is only owed salary for September and they also confirmed that Super Falcons coach Thomas Dennerby has tendered his resignation.
